So, you may have been noticing that it seems like I’ve been paying more attention to the other blog as opposed to this one. Before you begin to speculate I’m leaving this one by the wayside, let me just clarify that I treat the two differently. The music thing is going excellent right now, and I definitely hope it continues this ride, but — I’d like to keep my personal blog here a little more personal. Anybody who knows me at all knows how important a role music plays to me, however there is more to me than just that, and that’s why this space is here.

Well, as I’m sure most of you know, mainly because I talked to you about it for a whole week, I had two shows at Cenci over in East Atlanta this week. The Friday one for East Atlanta Love was wicked, I had a blast doing it, I changed up and added some new trickery to the set you can read about on the rClique blog, and download the live set if you so desire. I really like the way things have been going lately, and I’m looking forward to our party at The Bench during the day on New Years Eve, and hopefully I’ll see you there.

I spent this evening at the Holy Taco Christmas Bash, running into a lot of Ole Miss friends I have not seen in a while. For those who have not hit up Holy Taco yet over in East Atlanta Village, I would highly recommend it. It’s like Taqueria Del Sol, but much much better in my opinion. A lot of people say “I could survive on (cuisine of choice).” The fact of the matter is I do survive on Mexican food. If I’m going out of my way to endorse a Mexican joint in Atlanta, it’s probably worth your while to check it out.

This week at work will be interesting; I have been spending a majority of my time working there so far learning all about Microsoft’s new Essential Business Server package, and how to migrate an existing Small Business Server network environment over to EBS. This week is the go-week for doing our own migration and it’s the first time in a very long time I’ve been a part of something like this in the IT field. So far it has been a cool experience to begin to learn about a lot of current industry-standard stuff that I haven’t seen because I’ve been working in solely Apple world for such a long period of time. I’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to do something like this for a while, and can’t wait to see how much like my testing runs it actually is. I’m sure I’ll post more about it in the upcoming days.

That’s about it for now, there is definitely a lot going on between now and the end of the year, so I am quite sure there will be some updates to this space a little more regularly as we close out 2009, but until then, keep it safe, and Happy Holidays!
